# Overshoot

> Overshoot is real-time AI vision infrastructure. Developers stream video in and get low-latency AI analysis and descriptions out, so they can build vision applications that see and act in real time. Overshoot is backed by Y Combinator.

Overshoot provides an API and platform for streaming video understanding: send a live video stream and receive structured, low-latency AI analysis (descriptions, events, detections) in return. It is built for developers creating applications that need to react to what a camera sees as it happens.
